
Lidiane Lima Florencio is a Full Professor of Physiotherapy at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain, where she has been working since 2018. She graduated in Physiotherapy from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP) (2009). She obtained her PhD in 2017 and completed her post-doctorate in 2021 at the same institution. She is currently Associate Editor of the journals Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy and Archives of Physiotherapy. Her training, clinical and research experience in the field of headaches and orofacial pain (and their relationship with sensory and musculoskeletal alterations) began in 2006 with the brazilian TMD and Headache Group. This area of interest remains her main line of research, with more than 100 publications, postgraduate student supervision and funded projects.
