UAntwerp invites its academic and administrative staff to organise incoming mobility for students from universities located in VLIRUOS Global Minds countries.

Many international partnerships are often characterized by one-way exchange from the ‘Global North’ to the ‘Global South’. This action aims to rebalance these unilateral mobility flows by offering meaningful opportunities for students from local partners to engage with students at UAntwerp. This initiative aligns with UAntwerp’s strategic framework for Global Engagement, which is rooted in the principles of global citizenship, equal partnerships and international solidarity.

This call builds on insights from the pilot on two-way student exchange (partners in Suriname and Brazil, October-November 2024), which demonstrated the added value of reciprocal, group-based mobility for fostering equal partnerships and intercultural learning.
