#8 Inés Ballesteros & Michela Dal Brollo

In their research, Inés Ballesteros and Michela Dal Brollo create and demonstrate portable equipment as a set of transportable, practical and conceptual devices, which we name Living Equipment. They are now focusing on exploring liminal places of the city of Antwerp. During 2020, Michela and Inés conducted the project titled ‘Stone soup’ with the support of Kunstenplatform PLAN B, that evolved in their current research project “Living Equipment: Portable spaces” supported by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and in collaboration with other institutions like WPZimmer. Michela and Inés are currently part of the organisation of Samenschool and part of the collective atelier Archipel. (Discover more on kunstenplatformplan.be and ap-arts.be)
