REIMAGINE is searching for a job student! 

The position is particularly suitable for students who are interested in gaining practical research experience and insights into a research project. You will join an international, dynamic research team. You will support a qualitative analysis of Spanish media articles dealing with decarbonization – therefore excellent Spanish language skills are a necessary requirement for the position. You will work on this analysis under the supervision and in close collaboration with Professor Lisa Suckert.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Collection of qualitative datasets and text corpora
- Research in academic databases
- Support qualitative data analysis of newspaper articles, coding
- Manage qualitative data and analysis in NVivo
- Conducting literature searches and managing bibliographic data
Your profile:
- You are enrolled in a Master's or an advanced semester of a Bachelor's or program in sociology, political science, communication studies, cultural studies or a related field
- You are interested in the topics of decarbonization/climate change
- You have excellent Spanish language skills and at least very good English language skills. (Spanish) exchange students are very welcome, but also everyone else with appropriate language skills.
- You have basic understanding of qualitative data analysis
- You demonstrate proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excell etc.)
- You have basic experience with QDA software (e.g., nvivo, MaxQDA or Atlas.ti) is or are willing to acquire relevant skills
- You are able to work independently, and to manage workloads and deadlines
- You are open-minded and curious to learn new things.
