X-CELERATE’s work plan is structured around 3 technical WPs:
- Advanced imaging of emerging materials (WP1)
- Design and fabrication of advanced materials demos (WP2)
- Advanced materials characterisation (WP3)
X-CELERATE targets the development of dedicated XCT acquisition, reconstruction & analysis methods for advanced materials (WP1). WP3 aims to develop and implement the methods developed in WP1 to characterise and simulate specific functional properties and performances of smart materials in different operational and environmental conditions. WP2 will demonstrate proof of concepts of novel XCT imaging and analysis methods (developed in WP1&3) in industrial advanced material applications
Furthermore, it includes 3 non-technical WPs:
- Training (WP4),
- Dissemination, communication & exploitation (WP5),
- Management (WP6)
