Our mission is to drive innovation in the Flemish and European manufacturing industry by advancing both software-intensive and cyber-physical systems. We unite expertise in intelligent software, connected machines, and complex industrial technologies to help shape the next generation of vehicles, factories, and automated systems.

With a team of 53 dedicated researchers, we are part of the Flanders Make strategic research center for manufacturing in Flanders. Through this collaboration, we work closely with the Flemish government, industrial partners, and universities—both local and international—to accelerate innovation within industrial systems. Our goal is to help make the industry smarter, safer, more efficient, and more cost-effective.
