Miriam Santoro is a PhD Researcher enrolled in a Joint PhD Programme in Law between the University of Brescia (Italy) and the University of Antwerp. Her work explores the necessity of adopting a rights-based approach in shaping the development and implementation of policies for the energy transition. Miriam holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Law and Sustainable Development from the University of Milan (2022) and a Bachelor's Degree in Comparative, European and International Legal Studies from the University of Trento (2020). She also works as a Policy Officer in a non-profit organisation promoting sustainable finance.
