MICSS Lab

MICSS (Modeling Intelligente Complex Software and Systems) lab is a research lab in the AnSyMo group* dedicated to modeling and simulation of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and System of Systems (SoS), specifically focusing on their intelligence and smart-ness by employing techniques such as autonomous/intelligent agents (IA), Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), and Agent-Based Modeling (ABM) in the lifecycle of smart CPS (sCPS) and their System of Systems (sCPSoS). Also, the development of these complex systems is supported using Model-driven Software Engineering (MDSE) and Model-based System Engineering (MBSE) techniques.

*AnSyMo (Antwerp Systems and Software Modeling) is a research group in the Department of Computer Science investigating foundations, techniques, methods, and tools for the design, analysis, and maintenance of software-intensive systems.
