The tuition fee includes the course materials, coffee breaks, three lunches, social activities and a farewell dinner. It does not include travel and accommodation.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation by the organisation
Should the summer school be cancelled by the organiser for organisational reasons or as a result of force majeure, the organiser will refund the registration fee. Claims for further liabilities or damages are excluded.
Cancellation by the participant
If a participant decides to cancel their enrolment in the summer school, they must notify the organiser in writing. The following cancellation policy applies, unless otherwise mentioned on the website of the specific summer school.
- Cancellation before 14 May 2026: 20% of the tuition fee* will be retained as a cancellation cost.
- Cancellation between 14 May 2026 and 25 June 2026: 50% of the tuition fee* will be retained as a cancellation cost.
- Cancellation after 25 June 2026: No refund will be issued.
*Cancellation costs are based on the tuition fee before deduction of the €150 scholarship provided to regular University of Antwerp students.
The organiser will not be liable for any further claims, damages, or losses resulting from the participant's cancellation. We strongly encourage securing travel insurance to protect against potential losses resulting from cancellation.
All refunds are processed in euros. The organisation cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.
