In 2025, the ALGAR summer school was dedicated to Algebras with involution and linear algebraic groups. The main part of the summer school, in which some familiarity with these topics will be assumed, took place in the week from 25 to 29 August. It consisted of lectures accompanied by exercise sessions and a couple of research talks. The confirmed speakers were:

I was excited to participate in this summer school - I just can't get enough of mathematics! This programme was great in almost every aspect. I loved attending the classes; they were challenging, but that only motivated me more, as it felt like we were expanding our mathematical thinking. I also really enjoyed the full experience. Including the extra social activities allowed us to connect with people from around the world!
