We accept applications until 4 December 2025 (unless maximum capacity has been reached). Non-EU-citizens are advised to apply before 6 November 2025 , because the visa-application can take up 3 months.

Applications are submitted and processed through the enrolment platform Mobility Online

The application includes a brief CV and cover letter (300 words, detailing the applicant’s background, motivation and interest in the course). Please include in your application whether you require on-site childcare and/or other forms of accommodation (e.g. sign language interpretation). Inspired by the Radical Mothering Research Collective (Warwick University), we 'value children’s disruptive power and welcome them in all spaces'. We can provide facilities for babies, young children and chest/breastfeeding participants. Childcare staff will be hired should participants indicate a need for it.

Applications are evaluated by the academic committee and the programme coordinators. All applicants will be notified whether they are accepted two weeks after the application deadline. The application of UAntwerp-students who attend the winter school as part of their Ma-programme in Philosophy will always be accepted. Yet they too have to register via Mobility Online.

In case your application is accepted, you will receive further practical information on payment and visa.  Note that your registration is only complete when the tuition fee is received on the university's bank account.

Accepted participants will be registered as regular students of the University of Antwerp and will hence receive a student account which gives them access to the catering facilities and the Wi-Fi network of the University of Antwerp. Furthermore, accepted participants will be automatically insured for third party liability and accidents during summer or winter school activities. Additional insurances (e.g. health and travel), as well as travel costs are the participant’s own responsibility.
