Summer School on Vaccinology 2026
The Centre for the Evaluation of Vaccination (CEV) organises the annual Summer School on Vaccinology for students. This training course focuses on vaccines, infectious diseases, immunisation programmes, and many other aspects of immunisation, such as communication and vaccine safety. The overall aim is to improve the current knowledge and skills related to vaccines for (para-)medical students, thus closing a gap in many curricula.
Lecturers from all over Europe will share their expertise with you. The course consists of lectures and hands-on skills training on topics such as administration of vaccines and communication. A group task is presented at the end of the course, where knowledge from throughout the course can be applied. A maximum of fifty participants is admitted to the summer school, and the selection is balanced for gender and nationality.
A social programme is organised with the help of an enthusiastic group of Antwerp medical students from EMSA (European Medical Students Association). They will show you the vibrant city of Antwerp, as well as organise touristic and social activities.

			Hi there!
A summer course is not complete without a social programme! We, a group of students from the Antwerp European Medical Students Association (EMSA-Antwerpen), will take care of that.
During the week days and weekend, we will arrange a wide variety of dinners and activities to give you more than a glimpse of Antwerp and the rest of Belgium. Visits to museums, exhibitions or historical places can be arranged and we will be very happy to answer all your practical questions about these kind of things.
The social and cultural programme is optional and free!
We are looking forward to meeting you!
