Policy arrangements
In the European STAR-FLOOD project, the Belgian team – composed of policy scientists from the University of Antwerp and legal scholars of the Catholic University of Leuven – wrote a research report ‘Analysing and evaluating flood risk governance in Belgium. Dealing with flood risk in an urbanized and institutionally complex country’. By the best of our knowledge, for the first time ever, this report makes a clear and robust overview of water governance arrangements in Belgium.
