As a post-doc researcher with a background in tree ecophysiology, I joined the citizen science project CurieuzenAir, where we measured the air quality in Brussels in collaboration with 3.000 citizens (curieuzenair.brussels). I currently work as a project manager on enhanced silicate weathering in coastal environments to stimulate carbon dioxide removal from the atmosphere (coastalesw.com) and I’m involved in the European project ICOS. The main aim of this project is to monitor the exchange of greenhouse gases on a large scale and over a long period of time (www.icos-belgium.be).
