Christina Makoundou is an MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow. Her work focuses on safer and more sustainable practices in urban infrastructure, including raising awareness of vulnerable road user safety and valorizing waste and bioresources (e.g., rubber, oils, lignin) for use as alternative construction materials for low-impact solutions. Her expertise extends to surface and interface chemistry, as well as material chemistry characterization methods, all of which she has applied to various projects. Additionally, she is involved in research and educational activities at the Urban Studies Institute.
