About Ola Gracjasz

Aleksandra (Ola) Gracjasz is an anthropologist with an interest in visual methods, specifically photography. She has conducted ethnographic fieldwork in rural Cuba and Poland, in both cases integrating photographic practices and theories. Her PhD formed part of the ERC-funded Food Citizens? project led by Prof. dr. Cristina Grasseni, in which Ola was looking at contemporary forms of citizenship enacted and manifested through involvement in food-related networks in Gdańsk, northern Poland. In the ReWorkChange project, Ola will carry out ethnographic research in Brussels.
