I am a professor of English and general linguistics. I teach English Grammar and English Proficiency courses, as well as Fieldwork in Linguistics and English Sociolinguistics. My research as well as the PhD projects that I supervise focus on the semantics of grammatical constructions across languages. On the basis of natural language data I analyze how we can exploit the tools of language for expressive and social purposes. I am the author of the monograph “The Present Perfective Paradox across Languages”, published with Oxford University Press, and a wide range of peer reviewed publications.
