About Léa Hermenault

Léa Hermenault (PhD in 2017) is a Postdoctoral researcher in Archeology and History. She explores interactions between materiality, environmental contingencies and social processes on the long term. She worked as a Postdoctoral researcher for different research projects (Paris Time Machine, Oronce Fine, GIStorical Antwerp, ERC "Healthscaping Urban Europe", ...) in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. She is currently post-doc for the "Belgian Historical Gazetteer", a CLARIAH-VL+/UA project to facilitate the mapping of sources and the study of the Belgium landscape over the long-term
