About Laura Mortelmans

Laura Mortelmans is a teaching assistant in scientific research in the Master in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences. She obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences with research on medication self-management in hospitalised patients with polypharmacy. Her expertise includes medication adherence, medication self-management, patient participation, and nurse prescribing. Laura is a national board member of Nurse and Pharmaceutical Care (NuPhaC) and a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
