About Defne Tasman

Ph.D. Researcher on mediation in EU corporate rescue, mediator, and consultant to the World Bank Group’s Insolvency and Debt Resolution team. Board member of INSOL ERA and YANIL, and CERIL Research Associate. Defne (co-)authors publications to inform EU and international policy on mediation and insolvency, lectures at universities and institutions worldwide, hosts interviews for the INSOL Talks Podcast, and presents at leading international fora. In 2024, she was awarded the INSOL International-funded World Bank internship in Washington D.C.
