I work on the assessment of urban resource flows, particularly bio-based materials such as food and organic waste. I study these flows at different spatial scales (local, regional, national), with a focus on city-hinterland relationships and using tools from industrial, territorial, and political ecology. My ambition is that, through my research, teaching, and civic engagement, I can contribute to transforming urban environments into healthy, beautiful, and just places for everyone to live and enjoy.
