About Robbe De Laet

Robbe De Laet obtained his master’s degree in industrial sciences: electromechanics at the University of Antwerp in 2023. He subsequently started as a doctoral researcher on the FWO project ‘Sparse interpolation for high-dimensional mechatronic co-design’. In 2024, he was awarded an FWO predoctoral fellowship for research on online optimization of motion profiles. As a member of the Cosys-Lab research group, he contributes to the realization of the vision to achieve globally optimal and energy-efficient motion control within mechatronics and robotics.
