Haris Zargar
Dr Haris Zargar is a research fellow at the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and the editor-in-chief of The Hague-based The Contrapuntal magazine. His research focuses on agrarian change, Islamism, foodways, and settler colonialism(s).
Maha Abdallah
Maha Abdallah is a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law, University of Antwerp. Her research examines Zionism, settler colonialism, and the legal framework and concept of genocide, situating the Nakba as an ongoing structural process of destruction and elimination against the Palestinian people. Prior to her doctoral studies, Maha worked with human rights organisations on legal research, advocacy, and international accountability. Her work and publications engage international law, human rights, occupation, apartheid, genocide, and corporate accountability.

Richard Toppo is an Adivasi researcher and activist from Jharkhand, India. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Development Policy (IOB), University of Antwerp. His work sits at the intersection of political ecology, social movements and Indigenous studies, with a particular focus on land, conservation, development and environmental justice. His scholarship is grounded in longstanding engagement with Indigenous communities and movements
