Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom

Once you obtain your master degree, the world is your oyster. That's fantastic, but it can also be a bit daunting. Should you pursue a PhD, an additional master degree or a postgraduate degree, or land a first job and start your professional career?

That's a lot to consider. You'll find the best answers if you know what you want and what you're capable of. We guide our students in their search for answers through individual graduate coaching, workshops and various tips and tools.

Life experience gives confidence

Master graduates who have a better self-understanding will be better equipped look for specific training opportunities or the perfect first job. Very concrete information from employers and life experiences shared by our alumni can be of great value

A Compass pointing in all directions

It's not always easy to find your own path after obtaining your master degree. Sometimes you want to delve deeper, and stay close to your field of study. This will automatically bring certain sectors or jobs to your attention. But you may also want to check out other domains to gain a different perspective.

That's why we organise various job events at UAntwerp, always centred on specific study programmes or sectors. These events are open to all students. This allows us to go broader and deeper, so our Compass points in all directions, as a campus-to-career guide for our master graduates.
