The InFlOOD project is a scientific cooperation between 4 universities, governmental organizations, non-profit organizations and the food industry.

We investigate how to communicate clearly about food in order to decrease the confusion of food consumers. With this purpose in mind, our researchers take a closer look at the tools and strategies from the strong communicators in the current food landscape. Next, a consumer segmentation will be developed, followed by an adapted strategy for each defined target group. Lastly, we investigate  what consumers think is missing in communication initiatives from the health sector. Read more

The InFlOOD project was possible thanks to the valuable help of Flanders’ FOOD, a cluster for the agri-food industry, supported by the Agency for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (VLAIO). InFlOOD is a research project by
