Enriching Mid-Term Meeting 2024

The QTOX consortium had the excellent opportunity to meet in the charming setting of Wageningen University & Research for the Consortium Mid-Term Meeting. This event counted on the invaluable participation of the supporting REA Project Officer, Mr. Apostolos Paralikas, who provided excellent guidance to ensure a good implementation of the action. From dynamic scientific discussions to strategic operational decisions, this meeting was marked by intensity and enrichment, setting necessary collective progress. A particular focus was on the Doctoral Candidates, who could showcase their research progress and engage in fruitful dialogues with the supervisors.
Set to be held in the sunny city of Valencia, Spain, and marked in the calendar for Spring 2025, the next QTOX Consortium Meeting promises to be equally enriching.
Successful Kick-off Meeting 2024

The kick-off meeting was held at the historic Hof van Liere Building at the city campus of the University of Antwerp on the 22nd and 23rd of June, 2023. It brought supervisors, doctoral candidates and associated partners' representatives together for the first time. The first day focussed on scientific discussions chaired by the work-package leaders and included brief presentations by the Doctoral Candidates to introduce their research projects. On the second day, the Doctoral Candidates participated in the workshop “Presenting with Impact” given by Hans Van de Water, co-founder of The Floor is Yours. In parallel, the Supervisory Board met to discuss crucial scientific aspects of the project, network operational topics, and the training programme. In conclusion, fundamental decisions were taken for the success of the project.
The kick-off meeting was a success and we look very much forward to meeting with all the consortium members in person again at Wageningen University & Research in April 2024!
