Our dissemination strategy will ensure broad accessibility of our research:
- Scientific Publications: Findings will be published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the academic community's knowledge and sparking further research.
- Reports and guidelines for Water Managers and Policy Makers: We will develop practical guidelines based on our research, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations for NBS implementation in various river contexts.
- Online Dissemination: A project website, social media, and webinars will be used to share updates, research findings, and engage with the stakeholder public and the environmental community.
- Local Stakeholder workshops: At the start of the project every case study will organize a starting event with stakeholders and at the end of the project dissemination events will be organized to gather feedback and facilitate dialogue between researchers and local stakeholders, ensuring our recommendations meet local needs. Besides the stakeholder meetings, some of the research actions provide further interaction with key stakeholders on implementation of NBS. Special attention is paid to the inclusion of vulnerable groups and communities in this by developing a strategy to involve them in a safe manner (task 4.1)
- Brussels Forum for Policy Makers: A forum in Brussels will provide a platform for presenting findings, discussing policy implications, and engaging with European policymakers to influence decision-making processes. This contributes to the implementation of the renewed WFD and the EU Commission’s Drought impact database.
- Online closed workshop and dissemination event with policy makers and water managers from across Europe to ensure and facilitate knowledge transfer between government actors and academic research.
