On November 26th, we welcomed the new generation of scientists, aged 10 to 14 years old, to learn about imaging techniques in an animal-related theme. Together with  µNeuro Research Centre of Excellence and Bio-Imaging Lab, we have shown the principles and capabilities of X-ray CT imaging, MRI and hyperspectral imaging.

What did we learn?

Well, that we can use X-ray imaging to distinguish fake from real eggs!

And also that the nasal cavity of a lion is very large and complex as it needs to smell its prey from a large distance!

It was a great day, we hoped to have inspired the next generation of researchers!
