Our Flow Cytometry Core Facility offers high-quality cell sorting services for the isolation of specific cell populations from heterogeneous samples. Using a state-of-the-art cell sorter, we can separate rare or complex populations based on fluorescence markers, scatter properties, and functional characteristics.
Applications
Cell sorting enables the isolation of highly specific cell populations for a wide range of downstream applications. By selecting cells based on the expression of surface or intracellular markers, researchers can obtain purified populations for further analysis, culture, or functional studies.
- Immunophenotyping and immune cell isolation
- Rare cell population enrichment
- Single-cell genomics and transcriptomics
- Cell culture and expansion
- Clinical and translational research
The applications listed above represent some of the most common uses of our cell sorting service. If your specific application is not mentioned, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our team is happy to discuss your project, assess feasibility, and help develop a sorting strategy tailored to your experimental needs.
Available Sorting Options
Bulk Cell Sorting
Isolation of target populations into tubes or collection vessels for downstream experiments
High-Purity Sorting
Optimized for maximal purity when obtaining highly defined cell populations
Single Cell Sorting
Depostion for individuals cells into 96-well or 384-well plates
Index Sorting
Single-cell sorting with simultaneous recording of the phenotypic characteristics of each sorted cell, enabling retrospective correlation of flow cytometry data with downstream analyses.
Our Equipment
Our facility offers advanced cell sorting services using a Cytek Aurora Cell Sorter with 5 lasers, enabling the isolation of highly specific cell populations from complex samples. Through spectral flow cytometry technology, the system can accurately distinguish fluorochromes with overlapping emission profiles, supporting high-parameter experiments and sophisticated panel designs.
The platform combines comprehensive cellular analysis with high-speed sorting, making it ideal for immunophenotyping, rare cell enrichment, single-cell applications, and functional studies.
