This survey is part of the CHANGE project, a research initiative by KU Leuven, the University of Antwerp, and the Université libre de Bruxelles, funded by the Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO).

We want to hear from self-employed people, part-time workers, those with temporary contracts, and people who combine multiple jobs.

The survey has received ethical approval from the KU Leuven Ethics Committee and fully complies with GDPR guidelines. You can view the certificate here.

Why are we doing this research?

We aim to better understand how people working outside traditional full-time employment deal with income fluctuations and uncertainty. Specifically, we are investigating:

  • How income variation affects living standards
  • What strategies people use to cope with uncertainty
  • How social protection systems can better respond to these realities

Your input will help us develop policy recommendations for fairer and more resilient social protection, benefiting policymakers, trade unions, and employer organizations.
