The valorisation platform for image-based biomarkers
MICA is proud to be a member of iMARK.
iMARK is a consortium that brings together complementary expertise in biomarker discovery, tracing and detection within a single integrated platform. By combining advanced technologies such as PET-imaging, MRI, fluorescence microscopy, proteomics, and other state-of-the-art methodologies, iMARK offers a unique multidisciplinary approach to biomarker research.
iMARK is interested to pursue collaborations with industrial partners to expand our research portfolio while providing access to our collective expertise and infrastructure. The combined research activities span a wide range of fields, including peripheral neuropathies, ageing, tissue generation, neurodegenerative disorders, radiophamaceuticals and theranostics in cancer treatment, human papillomavirus (HPV), glioblastoma organoids, and SARS-CoV-2 research. Within this collaboration there is an extensive experience in both 2D and 3D cell-based screening models, as well as preclinical studies involving laboratory animals.
Building on decades of scientific excellence, iMARK has developed streamlined analytical and experimental workflows that enable efficient project design and execution. Whether you are exploring a novel biomarker or seeking to validate an existing one, iMARK can tailor the appropriate methodology and provide the expertise needed to answer your research question.
