The PoHis Seminars are at the heart of the Centre for Political History at the University of Antwerp. Whereas the aim of these nearly weekly meetings remains constant – a critical and constructive discussion focused on a written text dealing with political history in the broadest sense –, the content and nature of the texts are characterized by a great variety, including project applications or research drafts, book chapters and articles in progress.

Participation: Although the members of the Centre make up the core of the seminars, external scholars (both predoctoral and postdoctoral) are welcome to present a text or to participate in the discussion. Want to be invited for sessions? Want to present your paper?

Contact our secretary Michèle Corthals for more information.
