This doctoral workshop on 21 April 2026 (14:00 – 16:30), co-organised by the Urban Studies Institute, CRESC and PPG, invites PhD and postdoc researchers to pitch and discuss their research with USI visiting scholar Ross Beveridge (University of Glasgow).
Ross will introduce the afternoon, discussing key findings and reflections in his talk: "Where, what and when is urban democracy, and why is it important in current times?"
Take part in the workshop
We invite doctoral and postdoctoral researchers whose work touches upon urban democracy to give a short 5' to 10' pitch, presenting their research, and which potential challenges and questions it investigates related to urban democracy.
