Expertise
Ilse De Coster heads the CEV's Ambulatory Clinical Trial Unit, with experience in the field of clinical vaccination studies against various infectious diseases (design, coordination and implementation), both sponsor-driven and investigator-driven. She is actively involved in teaching Vaccinology and Infectious diseases, particularly polio. She is also a member of the Superior Health Council, part of the Antwerp Paediatric Clinical Trial Network focusing on vaccine studies, and chair of the National Certification Committee for the Eradication of Poliomyelitis (NCC).

Abstract
An International Multicentre, Phase 2, Randomised, Adaptive study to determine need for, optimal timing of and immunogenicity of administering a booster mRNA vaccination dose against SARS-CoV-2 in the general population (18+ years) already fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (EU-COVAT-2 BOOSTAVAC).
