About Maria-Victoria Bas

Maria-Victoria Bas is a doctoral researcher in Visual Studies and Art History at the University of Antwerp (Department of Communication Studies). Her research focuses on the legacy of Aby Warburg’s Bilderatlas Mnemosyne and on contemporary digital and material atlas forms (such as mapping projects and textile practices) as sites for alternative ways of seeing and knowing.
