Expertise
Aleksandra (Ola) is an anthropologist and photographer with a passion for teaching and interest in social change, civic engagement, and activism. She holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Leiden University where she was part of 'Food Citizens?' ERC project. Currently she is a Post Doc in the ERC project 'ReWorkChange' at the Visual and Digital Cultures Research Center (University of Antwerp). Her previous field sites include Cuba and Poland and her new research takes place in Brussels. She is also a guest lecturer in the "Film Studies and Visual Culture" masters degree at UAntwerp.
