My research focuses on examining the responses of plants to various abiotic stress factors such as drought and salinity. This includes assessments of enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants, as well as physiological and agronomic measurements. My studies primarily involve medicinal plants such as Origanum vulgare, Rosmarinus officinalis, Salvia fruticosa, and Salvia officinalis, along with industrial crops like Gossypium hirsutum and Helianthus tuberosus, as well as Zea mays. I investigate their adaptation mechanisms under abiotic stress conditions. Additionally, I have conducted research on the selection breeding (clonal selection) of different populations to analyze the responses of various genotypes to abiotic stress. Furthermore, I have worked on genetic characterization and determining the genetic relationships among different populations and genotypes using molecular markers.
