About Vincent Jacobs

Vincent Jacobs is a PhD researcher at the University of Antwerp, part of the SuPAR (Sustainable Pavements and Asphalt Research) research group. He started his PhD on November 1, 2024. Vincent holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Antwerp. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in materials science and improving material properties through innovative methods. Currently, he applies his expertise to develop new experimental setups for studying bituminous materials on micro and mesoscale levels.
