Yong Hu was born in 1983 in China. In 2012 he completed his Ph.D. at the University Paris-Sud 11 under the supervision of Colliot-Thélène. From 2013 to 2017 he was an associate professor at the University of Caen (France). In 2017, he was appointed as a Assistant Professor at the Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen (China).
Eberhard Becker was born in 1943 in Mecklenburg (Germany). He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Hamburg in 1972 under the supervision of Helene Braun. In 1979 he became professor at the Technical University of Dortmund. He was the rector of the university between 2002 and 2008. Since 2008 he is professor emeritus.
David Grimm was born in 1979 in Friedrichshafen (Germany). He completed his PhD in 2011 at the Universität Konstanz (Germany) under the supervision of Karim Johannes Becher. He is now an associate professor at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
David Leep completed his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan in 1980 under the supervision of Donald J. Lewis. Since 1984 he is a professor at the University of Kentucky.
Karim Johannes Becher was born in 1973 in Munich (Germany). He received his Ph.D. in 2001 at the University of Besançon (France). His supervisors were Eva Bayer-Fluckiger and Detlev Hoffmann. From 2001 to 2012 he was a postdoctoral researcher at several European universities, in particular at University of Konstanz (Germany). Since 2012 he is a professor at the University of Antwerp.

Charu Goel was born in 1985 in Lucknow (India). She completed her PhD in 2014 at the Universität Konstanz (Germany) under the supervision of Salma Kuhlmann. She further collaborated with Bruce Reznick (Urbana, Illinois). She is now an assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur (India).
Maciej Zakarczemny was born in 1982 in Nysa (Poland). In 2012 he completed his Ph.D. at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw under the supervision of Andrzej Schinzel. He now works as an assistant professor at the Cracow University of Technology in Kraków (Poland).
