Tuition Fee
For all students and professionals: € 150
This fee includes orientation and course material, coffee breaks, sandwiches lunch during the course days, and social activities.
This fee does not include housing, travel arrangements, breakfast, and dinner on the course days.
Disclaimer-Cancellation
Cancellation by the organisation
Should the INSPIRE Summer School 2024 be cancelled by the organiser due to a limited quorum, for organisational reasons, or as a result of force majeure more than two weeks after the application deadline, the organiser will refund the registration fee. Claims for further liabilities or damages are excluded.
Cancellation by the participant
If the participant cancels more than 4 weeks before the start of the summer or winter school, 50% of the registration fee can be reimbursed. If the participant cancels within 4 weeks before the start of the summer or winter school, €50 of the registration fee will be refunded, unless otherwise mentioned on the website of the specific programme. All refunds are made in euros. The organisation cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.
Scholarships
Scholarships for University of Antwerp students
Two types of scholarships are available for students who are currently enrolled as regular students of the University of Antwerp.
- Refund of €150/student after attending a summer or winter school organised at Antwerp Summer and Winter University. Students should prefinance the full tuition fee and can claim a reimbursement of the allowance after submitting a certificate of attendance and proof of payment to the Antwerp Summer and Winter University Office. The following students qualify for this refund: University of Antwerp students regularly enrolled under a diploma contract in a Bachelor, Master, Advanced Master, Preparatory Programme, Bridging Programme or Academic Teaching Programme, in either academic year 2023-2024 or 2024-2025.
- Scholarship for a short international experience for students who qualify for financial aid by the Department of Social, Cultural and Studentaffairs (SCS).
