Expertise
My expertise lies at the intersection of architecture, digital technology, and human-centred design, with a particular focus on how emerging technologies can transform both architectural design processes and the way people experience and interact with buildings. My research spans adaptive and robotic architecture, human-building interaction, human-centred artificial intelligence (AI), computational and parametric design, and interactive environments. I design and evaluate robotic architectural elements, responsive spaces, interactive building components, generative AI applications, and computational design systems, with particular attention to human behaviour, spatial experience, comfort, health, wellbeing, and social interaction. By combining architectural design with perspectives from human-computer interaction, robotics, environmental psychology, and related fields, I aim to develop responsible, creative, and practically applicable digital technologies that contribute to better buildings and design processes.
