About Sara Dewachter

Sara is a post-doctoral researcher at IOB. She holds a PhD in Political science of KULeuven, Belgium. Her education/research interests focus on (political) participation, civil society, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Community Based Monitoring (CBM), citizen science (CS), social network analysis & cash transfer. She is involved in several research projects on alumni barometer (global minds), cash transfer (FWO), on CBM (Fuatilia Maji| VLIR-UOS), women empowerment through CS (WomenWaterWatch |EU) with partners in Uganda, Tanzania, ... Sara is also IOB alumni, education innovation coordinator.
