Maxim Delodder (1996) is preparing a doctoral thesis at the University of Antwerp under the supervision of Professor Franc Schuerewegen. His research is financed by FWO (Research Foundation – Flanders). The research project is situated in the field of contemporary French literature, where he studies queer literature and the issues of community that surround it. His research focuses on the different figures of the “community” that are found in a corpus of “gay” novels.
