About Elina Vrijsen

Elina Vrijsen obtained a Master in Anthropology at the Catholic University of Leuven in 2019. She is currently pursuing a joint Ph.D. between the University of Antwerp and Ghent University. She is a member of the research group MIOS (University of Antwerp), CIMS (Ghent University) and an associate member of AMSoC (University of Antwerp). In addition, she is a member of the FOOMS-group (University of Antwerp). Her research focuses on the cultural construction of masculinity in relation to meat.
