David Ceulemans obtained his PhD in 2023 on time-optimal rest-to-rest motions for stepper motors using frequency-domain methodologies. He is a research manager at the Department of Electromechanics (Faculty of Applied Engineering), where he is responsible for valorization, research funding, and project management. David contributes to CoSys-Lab’s vision on optimal and energy-efficient motion control, EMIB’s sustainable HVAC solutions, and InViLab’s innovative vision-based solutions. In addition, he chairs the advisory board of the Engineers-of-Tomorrow program, which he co-initiated.
