Emma Ceulemans is a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Transport and Regional Economics at the University of Antwerp. Her research focuses on the analysis of various transport networks using detailed data, driven by economic transport questions. She places particular emphasis on road freight transport and the use of GPS data. In addition, she is responsible for teaching the course Economics at the Faculty of Applied Engineering. Emma obtained her master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences in 2021 and successfully defended her Ph.D. in 2025.
