In a globalising world, internationalisation has become an essential part of academic life. The Faculty of Law pursues internationalisation in teaching, research and service provision actively. This has enabled the faculty to rank among the top 100 law faculties worldwide (THE Ranking: Law 2025)

International partnerships allow for international exchanges of students and staff. The Faculty annually welcomes up to 100 incoming exchange students and visiting researchers from all continents who participate in Antwerp's thriving academic community. In addition the faculty is engaged in the Antwerp Summer Winter University, welcoming another 100 students. Our own students also actively go on exchange and benefit from an extensive internationalisation@home programme, where foreign staff teach in Antwerp.

Our International Office Law supports our international staff and students and makes them feel at home. The office also coordinates all initiatives relating to international cooperation and exchange.
