Centre Pieter Gillis

Centre Pieter Gillis is the reflection centre for active pluralism of the University of Antwerp. It provides education, research and social events on religious diversity and on the social position of religion in our society.

The centre is responsible for a philosophical course on World Views, compulsory for all third undergraduate students of the University of Antwerp.

The centre is named after Pieter Gillis, an Antwerp humanist and friend of Desiderius Erasmus and Thomas More.
