An exposure is a two-year learning pathway involving a reciprocal exchange between students from UAntwerpen and from one of USOS' partner universities. Students stay with host families. They follow a socio-cultural programme and immerse themselves in a social theme.
Since its inception in 1985, USOS has organised a total of 79 exposure trips.
For academic year 2023-24, students can apply for the exchange with Bukavu (Dutch language proficiency required). Students will help with the reception in Antwerp during the summer of 2024 after which they will go on their own immersion trip to Bukavu a year later. More info to follow.
