A three-day YUFE Academy Event for undergraduate/master students and early-stage researchers
- When: November 8-10th 2021 – 10:00 AM - 03:00 PM CET
- Where: online
- Target audience: undergraduate / master students and early-stage researchers
The YUFE institutions would like to invite you to a YUFE Academy Event for undergraduate/master students and early-stage researchers. In this three-day event, we aim to inform you about doing a PhD at YUFE.
The objectives of this event are threefold. First, we aim to inform undergraduate students, master students and early-stage researchers (ESRs) on the PhD process. How do you choose a research topic and your supervisor? How do you get funding for your research? And how does the life of a PhD researcher look like? Second, we will highlight the possibilities of doing a PhD at the YUFE institutions (regulations, opportunities, calls, vacancies, joint doctoral programmes,…). As a third this event will give you the opportunity to meet PhD candidates in different fields of study.
Nice to know: There will be a second part to this PhD@YUFE event next year! This follow-up event will be hosted on-site at one of the 10 YUFE-universities. Selected candidates can travel and meet experts and at the same time benefit from hands-on practical guidance and tips on developing a PhD proposal. We will announce possible research foci and the event location later this year.
